Hyundai and Kia vehicles with A4CF1, A4CF2 transmissions may exhibit converter related complaints and transmission overheat. This may be caused by severe wear at the TCC regulator valve, allowing valuable converter regulator pressure to exhaust and significantly reducing lubrication oil. The drop-in Sonnax TCC regulator valve kit restores the critical hydraulic clearance between the valve and bore, and blocks the casting wear from exhausting critical pressure. The valve and sleeve are made from highly wear-resistant material, provide nearly double the sealing engagement over OE and have features to aid in valve centering.
